Get a taste of the Caribbean. Bikkle Island now open!

Bust out the steel drums and ya coconuts and get your reggae groove on, because we’ve got some really exciting news for you!

Our brand new Caribbean restaurant Bikkle Island is now open at The Galleries! Serving up an exciting and flavoursome menu full of unique recipes, using authentic Caribbean spices to liven up your lunch time – on the 2nd floor, next to Robert Dyas. With value for money food, freshly cooked and prepared each day, friendly staff and vibrant décor, Bikkle Island promises to bring sunshine to The Galleries, whatever the time of year.

To celebrate the opening, on 5th January 2018, you can enjoy Reggae music while you eat and the chance to win a meal for two in the restaurant next month, by taking a picture of your meal at Bikkle Island and uploading it to Instagram with the accompanying hashtag #BikkleIslandBristol. Ask in the restaurant for more details.

Bikkle Island is run by a husband and wife team and was first established in Easton on 1st February 2015. Bikkle Island is a true family business – with the culinary expertise of the owner’s Aunt – a professional Chef, and mother at the heart of the business. The Galleries Bristol restaurant is the second in their growing business portfolio, born out of the huge success of the first. Their aim over the coming years is to make Caribbean food as popular as well established cuisines such as Chinese and Indian, and to be at the forefront of this renaissance.
